How to Treat a Problematic Skin ?
Let's being a beautiful one !
DRYÂ SKIN
Apply moisturizer Immediately After Washing
By trapping existing moisture in your skin, ointments, creams, and lotions (moisturizers) work. In order to trap this much-needed moisture, you must apply a moisturizer after a shower or bath and wash your face or hands within a few minutes of drying off.

Using an Ointment or Cream Instead of Lotion
Ointments and creams are more effective than lotions and are less intrusive. Look for creams or ointments containing one or more ingredients, such as dimethicone, glycerine, hyaluronic acid , lactic acid, lanolin, petrolatum, shea butter and mineral oil

Use a Gentle Cleanser
The skin may be irritated and dried out by soaps that contain fragrances, color's, and other chemicals. So, avoid products that contain alcohol, plastics, and artificial colors.

Minimize Your Use of Soap
Choose moisturizing products such as Dove, Olay, and Basis if appropriate, or consider soap-free cleansers such as Cetaphil, Oilatum-AD, and Aquanil. Steer clear of deodorant soaps, soaps that are perfumed, and alcohol products that can remove natural oils.

Never, Ever Scratch
The itch can be handled by a moisturizer most of the time. To alleviate itchy areas, you can also use a cold pack or a compress.

Limit Yourself to a 5 to 10-minute Daily Bath or Shower
If you bathe more than that, you will strip away most of the oily layer of the skin and cause moisture to be lose. Using lukewarm instead of hot water that is able to wash away natural oils.
OILY SKIN
Go Easy on The Toner
Using it at most once or twice a week instead of reaching for toner every day to regulate oil. Overusing toner may result in sensitive skin that might not be able to tolerate an acne regimen. Aberman (2017) stated that Jordana Mattioli, LE, a medical esthetician at Complete Skin MD in NYC says "although they can temporarily dehydrate the skin surface, they can be irritating, causing more oil to be produced by the skin."

Wash Regularly
Regularly washing will minimize the amount of oil on the skin. Wash with gentle soap and warm water and avoid fragrant soaps, added moisturizers, or harsh chemicals that can irritate or dry the skin , causing more sebum to react to it.

If not effective, you can use the product that contain acid such as salicylic acid, glycolic acid, beta-hydroxy acid and benzoyl peroxide on a small area of skin first to see how the body reacts because some types of skin can be irritated by these acids.

Use a Facial Mask
It may contain ingredients such as clay, honey and oatmeal.

Apply Moisturizers
An oil-free moisturizer will help to keep the skin moist and healthy without it feeling greasy for people with very oily skin. Aloe vera may be a good moisturizer for acne and oily skin care. In aloe vera, some compounds may have a naturally relaxing effect on the skin. The study noted that to be an efficient moisturizer, a product should have at least 10 percent aloe in it.

Consult a Dermatologist Early
Don't play a game of guessing, listen to a dermatologist. And if you are struggling at any age with excess oil or mild acne (blackheads and whiteheads), see your dermatologist before it gets worse and becomes more difficult to treat.
ACNE SKIN
Wash your face twice a day and after sweating
Skin that is prone to acne is sensitive. Washing more than twice a day can make your skin irritated, making your acne worse. Dermatologists recommend washing your face when you wake up, ready to go to bed and have a sweaty face for better results.

Use skin care products and cosmetics that don’t cause acne
The product should labeled with won't clog pores, non-comedogenic, non-acnegenic and oil free. It all depend on the skin type of that person. If these product still cause acne, they should use a different type of product that suitable and does not cause a skin more breakout.

Follow directions
Although it might sound very easy to use an acne treatment, how often you use it and how long you use it can make a big difference. Make sure the instructions are followed. If your treatment product has been implemented by a dermatologist, follow the guidelines of your doctor and use what the dermatologist has provided in the treatment plan. It help the doctor to detect the suitable product that person should used.

Stop scrubbing your face and other acne-prone skin
You may be tempted to scrub it clean if your skin feels greasy, dirty or grimy. It should not happen because acne-prone skin, which aggravates acne, can be irritated by scrubbing.
